The Ayurvedic Day Spa services at the Lotus Holistic Health Institute are the first of their kind. Traditionally, Panchakarma is part of a three to six day program requiring a total time commitment. Now the treatments have been structured so that anyone can enjoy the benefits of these luxurious therapies and be back to work in an hour and a half.

Instead of getting just a massage or herbal wrap, clients can enjoy the benefits of an Ayurvedic massage followed by a specific Ayurvedic therapy to insure that both the mind and body are relaxed, cleansed and integrated. These services provide the same effect as the Panchakarma life extension treatments, but they can be enjoyed on a weekly, daily or monthly basis.

We offer Ayurvedic Mind/Body Assessments & Programs, Ayurvedic Day Spa Treatments and Massages, Cleansing Programs, Ayurvedic Education - Massage Classes, Cooking Classes &Weekend Workshops.

Cynthia Copple, Ayurvedic Consultant in Santa Cruz, California since 1982, is the Director of Lotus Holistic Health Institute and President of Lotus Herbs. She has been trained in Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis and the use of Ayurvedic healing herbs by Ayurvedic master Dr. R. P. Trivedi of Hathras, India, who has encouraged and inspired her to teach and transmit the knowledge of this 5,000 year old system of wellness and rejuvenation from India. Her teachers include Ayurvedic Physicians and Doctors Vasant Lad, Pankaj and Smita Naram,and Sunil and Shalmali Joshi.

From time to time we sponsor visits by Ayurvedic Doctors from India, including workshops and consultations. Dr. Sunil Joshi was the original inspiration and teacher for our Panchakarma Program. It has been ongoing since then, with over 2000 treatments successfully completed.

Our treatments rates are; Initial Consultation - 120 minutes $190.00/60 minutes $100.00 & Monthly Follow-up Consultations - 30 minutes $55.00 (per half hour), Full body massage - $75, Herbal steam bath - $25, Herbal steam applied through tube - $35, Marma point facial massage - $70, Full body barley brush - $35, Facial scrub and toner - $25, Shirodhara oil treatment - $70, Full body massage and herbal wrap - $90 and  Swedana - $100.

And we charge for Five Day Panchakarma Program, including all treatments, Ayurvedic food (lodging separate) - $1,600 and Three days (by special arrangement) - $850.
