Process of Shirodhara

Its better to work with a professional who has been trained in Ayurvedic methods if youre new to shirodhara .

Youll be asked to lie down on your back and relax at the beginning of the process. The practitioner will then heat the liquid to a temperature that approximates the temperature of the body and set it in a bowl. They may utilize a stand or hold the bowl over your head. In any case, the liquid will flow gently between your eyebrows through a small hole in the bowls bottom. For protection, a lightweight barrier will be placed over your eyes. The entire procedure usually takes between 30 and 90 minutes. It could end or begin with a massage
