उत्तरायण/ आदान काल :
उत्तरायण/ आदान काल ( uttarāyaṇa/ ādāna kāla )Meaning: Ascent of sun or northward movement of sun. this movement reduces the moisture (Soumya) from the earth, even it takes out the strength from living beings. Sisira, Vasanta & Grisma rtu together constitute Uttarayana which brings about reduction of strength.
