त्रिसूत्रं ( trisūtraṁ )Meaning: Literally means Three Sutras: A synonym of Ayurveda. It conveys the sense that when the tenets of Ayurveda are concised they can be categorized into only Three kinfds of Sutras: 1. Causes; 2. Signs & Symptoms and 3. Therapeutics meant for both the healthy and the diseased.
